Halloooooo ladies and gents, tis lil' old me again :)
T'as been a while bute here we go none the less.....
So I said fare-ye-well to the patrons, staff and building that make up Spaghetti Tree; my literal home for the last 5 or so months of being in Melbourne. I would just like to take this time to say that I had the best time with all of you and you have truely made my trip a memorable one. I can never repay you for what you have given me, but please know that I am very, very grateful :)
My first trip was along the Great Ocean Road. Yes I know I did it before Christmas, but this time it was so much better, as it was spead over 3 days and I got to spend it with some of the best people. Thanks to Amanda, Brid and Stuart and the others for making it a 'rite giggle lol! So ended up in Adelaide, which I have to say, once you get past the grandeur of the historic buildings, there's little else left. It's a nice place and has lots of character, but I just wasn't in the Museum, Art Gallery, Park place. I was more in the "fly by the seat of your pants" and "laugh uncontrollably" place. Had a nice time none the less, but maybe 8 nights was too long to spend there.
Next there was the Barossa Valley wine tour. I know you are all thinking "why did she go on a wine tour?", "she hates wine".....well I did and I very much still do. I have to say I gave it a good try and did have a sniff and sip of all that was offered to me (as well as probably eating at least half my weight in bread sticks), but alas I have not taken to the sweet nectar to smushed grapes. The company that I did the tour in was a different story. To all those that accompanied me to the Barossa and who I hung out with in Adelaide the next day....THANKS!
A few days after was the Kangaroo Island tour. Jon and Kit - who I met on the Barossa tour - were also on this trip, which only added to the ammusement that I would have inevitably had anyway. These two are a pair :) Had a really nice, chilled time on the island that is NOT shaped like the animal it is named after. Great food, nice weather, awesome people, crazy cool guide and a good location. I have to say though, I'm glad it was only two days, as stretching it out for another I think would have been overkill.
Now, the BIG ONE!! Well six days from Adeliade to Alice Springs. It was immense! Loved every second of it. From Coober Pedy (don't stay longer than a day if you have to, although you do get to sleep underground!!), Sleeping in the bush under the stars, sunrise and sunset at Uluru and the Olgas, Hiking the Olgas and walking aroung Uluru, Kings Canyon as a whole, and again the people ;) Just everything was amazing! The guide was really great and knew what he was talking about, and better than that he knew how to relax and have a good time with us as friends!
On arriving in Alice Springs the group had a meal and went out to celebrate a great trip. It was a really nice ending to it. I quickly realised that I had again booked to stay too long, but I used my time well by working on my much needed tan lol! The town is quite small, but very diverse. The hostel was really nice UNTILL I started getting bitten by bed bugs. Legs, stomach and back, arms, neck and face all bitten by the buggers.
Anyhow, I am now in Darwin and thankfully have not booked to stay too long. It seems the kind of place that comes alive at night, but during the day there's not a whole lot to do that interests me (this might now be the same for you) I'm glad I'm here, but also glad that at 5:05am on 27th March I'll be flying to Cairns and will be there for nine days....WHOOP :) Then it's the East Coast for a month and after that, who knows......
Well this lengthy post has tired me out, so I am off to the pub for a few drinks with some guys who I think were in the same hostel as me in Melbourne....small world hey :) Won't be drinking though, as today alone I have bought a plane ticket, accomadation, lost my room key (how I don't know) and had to hire crickery :S
Lots of love people

Australia July 2009-January 2010
Hi everyone,
So the "keeping up with the blogging if I had a real blod" idea didn't go so well, but I'm here now...
Finished New Zealand in July and then flew to the great land mass that is Australia.
It's so amazing here; have made so many friends and experienced some amazing things! Haven't done a huge amount of travelling at the moment, as NZ sucked all the money out of my bank account (not that I regret any of it of course), so have mainly been working as much as possible as the amazing Spaghetti Tree, Melbourne. The staff make this place...soooooo much laughs go on it's a wonder anyone gets served at all let alone on time lol! Thanks hairdresser from St Kilda who recomended this place to me....who would of thought I'd of got a job through that channel of inquiry hey!
I am planning to do a trip from Melbourne to Darwin, via Adelaide and Alice Springs (Uluru) in early March after attending the wedding of the year up in NSW....Louise and James are getting married and also having naming ceremonies for Alec and Jonathon <3>
Anywhoooo....I'm off now so keep in touch people! Missing you all and loving you even more!!!
Muchos lovage!! ;)

Hello :D
Hi Guys :P
So I've surcomed to the world of blogging! About time you're all probably thinking...at least I hope some of you are :D I wasn't doing very well with my attempts on Facebook, so my thinking is that if I have a real blog then I have to put real effort in to keep it updated!! So here we go...
A couple of you have said that you've received my postcards, which is good :D Sorry it took so long to send them, but I had to locate where to buy stamps and then actually buy the stamps and then find a post box (they're not big red pillars over here), etc...it was a whole effort related issue...but this will change...PROMISE!!! I haven't sent everyone a postcard from both L.A and New Zealand; I've scattered it so that not all my money is going on keeping you all updated (no offence intended!)
If I haven't already told you or you haven't heard, L.A was amazing! Got up to loads of fun adventures, met some amazing people and just had a fantastic time! Would thoroughly recomend Santa Monica for a holiday destination! So much to do it's untrue :D
New Zealand is a lot colder than the US (seeing as it is still their winter), but given how utterly beautiful the whole place is I think I can forgive and forget. So far I have been to Auckland, Tauranga, Rotarua, Taupo, Napier and Wellington - all in the North Island. Next week I head off to the South Island, where it is apparently snowing in a lot of places, so I'll hopefully get to reminise about my skiing lessons all those years ago in Woodford :D I did my Bungy Jump on Thursday and will see about putting the pictures up and maybe even attempt the video if this blog site will accept it! Fingers crossed! I was intending to do a Skydive on the same day, but the weather was not on my side. This however is not a bod thing as I have heard good things about other locations, so I will keep you informed of when it'll be.
Anyways that's all I can think of right now, but please keep commenting on Facebook and on here (if you can)! They really make me smile when I read them and I'll try my best to reply as soon as I can!! :D
Lots of love and luck!!!
